North offset: statistics & market trends
Over 40% of wind turbines were identified as presenting a north offset of at least 10°. Extreme North offsets (higher than 90°) remain quite frequent: on over 400MW of wind turbines analysed, 7% were impacted by these major issues.

Use case: Root-cause change of Performance
ExpertWind’s Performance monitoring was able to separate the apparent underperformance created by a faulty sensor from an underlying pitching issue hidden behind the wind speed underestimation. Once the sensor was replaced, the turbine went back to a normal operation.
