Understanding how a wind farm truly performs requires more than a few summary metrics. Low-quality data, wind variability and complex turbine behaviour often blur the picture, making it difficult to see where energy is lost and why.

2. Performance: accurate wind speeds and detailed diagnosis
Once losses are quantified, the next question is performance: how efficiently each turbine converts available wind into power?
Insights corrects wind-speed measurements through dedicated machine-learning models, trained for each turbine to ensure accuracy and consistency.
This correction step eliminates biases caused by sensor drift, transfer functions, faulty wind sensors and terrain effects, providing a reliable basis for power-curve evaluation. With these corrected wind speeds, Insights provides precise performance tracking over time and includes a Performance Diagnosis module that goes beyond simple deviation checks.
By combining turbine control laws with power-prediction models, the system can distinguish between expected behaviour and true underperformance, allowing users to identify the underlying cause rather than just the symptom.

3. Diagnostics: uncovering the root causes of underperformance
When performance issues appear, Insights provides specialised diagnostics to understand why. The platform analyses each region of the power curve with targeted methods to detect and quantify operational anomalies such as:
- Yaw misalignment (static or dynamic)
- North deviation
- Pitch and rotor-speed control
- Wind-sensor stability
- Turbine start-up
- Operation at nominal wind speeds
Each diagnostic is based on robust statistical and physical models, delivering results that are quantified, traceable and consistent. Operators can verify the origin of a loss, monitor its evolution and confirm the effectiveness of corrective actions, all within the same environment.

4. From results to action
